Minot National Disaster Resilience Program Architectural and Engineering Services for Resilient Renovation of Milton Young Tower Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

The Minot Housing Authority is requesting responses to this RFQ from qualified architectural and engineering (A & E) firms to prepare the plans and specifications necessary for renovations to Milton Young Tower, an affordable rental housing development located in downtown Minot. Instructions for preparing this qualifications package are included in this RFQ. The RFQ can be found on the Minot Housing Authority website at www.minothousing.com beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 until September 13, 2019 or a copy can be obtained from their offices located at 108 East Burdick Expressway #1, Minot, ND 58701 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 until 4:00 p.m. September 13, 2019.

Sealed responses to the RFQ are due on or before September 13, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the Minot Housing Authority offices, located at 108 East Burdick Expressway #1, Minot ND 58701. Responses to this RFQ may also be submitted by mail to Minot Housing Authority, 108 Burdick Expressway East, Minot, ND 58701. Responses received after the deadline will not be accepted nor opened.

Questions concerning this RFQ, the qualifications package, or any other aspect of the RFQ must be directed in writing to, Tom Alexander, Executive Director, Minot Housing Authority at Tom.Alexander@minothousing.com. Any questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted 5 business days before the submission deadline. All questions will be addressed weekly in writing and posted on the Minot Housing Authority website. Any updates to the RFQ will be posted on the Minot Housing Authority website as well. Responders are responsible for checking the website to find updates to the RFQ or any RFQ questions and responses.

This project is funded through CDBG-NDR funds. The successful proposal or proposals will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The proposer must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Minot Housing Authority no later than seven (7) days prior to the submission deadline.
